Wow, February really has been such a whirlwind of love, laughter, and memories. It’s hard to believe we’re already this far into the year, but I’ve been soaking up every moment of it. This month has been filled with special moments with my family, celebrating milestones, and embarking on new adventures with Clarkson. Here's a little look at what’s been happening in my world this February.

Family Time & Celebrating Landyn’s 5th Birthday

The month kicked off with a bang, as we celebrated my first nephew, Landyn, turning 5 years old! It was such a great weekend full of laughter, fun, and lots of kiddos running around. Watching the cousins play together, I couldn’t help but feel my heart swell with joy. Having all the kids together just lights up every room, and it’s amazing to see how they’re growing up so quickly.

What made it even more special was that my sister Jill flew in from North Carolina with her little ones, including the newest addition to the family, my sweet niece, and Parker P. I’ll never get tired of spending time with my sisters and our little ones. Being surrounded by family, watching our kiddos bond and create memories together, just fills every spot in my heart. There’s something about family time that is so grounding, and this weekend was a reminder of just how lucky I am to have such an amazing support system in my life.

10 Years of Marriage to Wes

As February continued, I had the chance to reflect on another milestone that makes this month even more meaningful—10 years married to Wes. Ten years. It feels like a dream, yet here we are, celebrating a decade of love and commitment. I often think back to that night—our wedding day—when we were surrounded by so much love from our friends and family. It truly was one of the most memorable nights of my life. The joy, the dancing, the laughter, and the love that filled the air; it was everything I had hoped for and more. I feel incredibly blessed to have Wes by my side as my partner in this adventure called life.

Clarkson's First Cruise: Utopia of the Seas

This month also brought a new adventure for Clarkson as he went on his first cruise. We set sail on the Utopia of the Seas and it was an unforgettable experience. Clarkson dove right into the fun, taking full advantage of everything the cruise had to offer. We visited Nassau and CoCo Cay, and let me tell you—he was in heaven.

One of the highlights of the trip was Clarkson’s newfound love for snorkeling. Honestly, I should’ve seen it coming! With his love for sea animals and water, it was only a matter of time before he discovered how much he enjoyed exploring the underwater world. It was such a joy to watch him dive in (literally) and embrace the ocean in such a confident, carefree way. I’m already looking forward to more water adventures with him!

Clarkson’s Learning Journey: Reading & Spelling

Back at home, Clarkson’s been making strides in his learning journey. He’s been working on learning to read and spelling words, which is a whole new world for me as a mom. Let me just say—Math has been his thing, but this reading stuff? It’s a challenge! We’re making it through, one day at a time, and it’s been a journey of patience and perseverance for both of us. If any seasoned moms out there have tips or advice on helping kids through this stage, I’d love to hear them! I know it’s just a matter of time before Clarkson really finds his rhythm with reading, but any wisdom is always welcome.

Soccer Season Kicks Off Again

And last but certainly not least, soccer season has officially started again! It’s that time of year when you’ll find us on the soccer fields every Saturday midday, for the next few months. Clarkson is so excited to get back out there, and I’m thrilled to watch him play and grow in the sport he loves. Soccer is such a great way for him to stay active, build confidence, and have fun with his friends. We’re ready for all the games, practices, and teamwork that this season will bring!

So, that’s a little peek into our February so far. It’s been a month of family, love, milestones, and new experiences. It’s not always easy balancing everything, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Here’s to the second half of the month, more memories to make, and more moments of joy to cherish!
