Happy New Year!

Here we are in 2022, I really can’t believe how fast time has been moving, and honestly how can I have a four-year-old son already!

The holidays were great, not 100% how we planned as Covid struck in the house just before Christmas. I think it was the first Christmas I didn’t spend with my sisters and parents, but it did lend some sweet quiet moments with my two boys. Sure missed the typical family traditions we do all together at the holiday, but made some great new ones to carry on. What a fun age Clarkson is at for all these things! It is really amazing as they say to see the magic and life through your kiddos!

2021 was full of all the things as I feel it was for much of us. Certainly ups and downs, Wes was quite busy with his role at work and taking care of the ICU sickies along with a stint in the COVID ICU caring for people at the end. Man am I proud of him! I can’t imagine what he and his coworkers have seen and dealt with for the past two years. You guys matter, and thank you for all that you do! Be sure to hug our medical community, I know they are needing it! I also am so grateful for the strides I was able to make in my business. I continue to count my blessings in each and every one of you!

Coming into the new year I love starting off feeling like a clean slate and this year is no different. Working on getting in a rhythm, though seems to always stay a little out of stride. For the parents that have come before me… tell me is this an ever-on-going feeling?! lol In all seriousness I would love some routine but I will be thankful for all the chaos in our lives…. means we are busy, and likely running around making things happen and having fun!

This year I am looking forward to one of our first long RV trips in our new toy! This summer we are headed out in the rig to my aunt and uncle’s ranch in Texas with several stops all along the way! Excited to see Clarkson running with the goats and cows along with everything in between. We have been quite sucked into following YouTube Families who are full-timing on the road. That will not be us at least for another 30 or so years, but it is fun to dream up trips for sure!

Hope you and your family are off to everything great this 2022 and can’t wait to see you and catch up soon!
