He has Risen!

This past weekend we celebrated Easter with the fam-jam! We have each been surely blessed by our savior, It was such a beautiful time celebrating together and bringing the littles up to feel the love of Jesus!

We kicked off the weekend with some time in our most sacred place… Ponce Inlet. This has been a place of pure joy to our family for the past 15 or so years. It is a space we have used as a respid, a place for family time, a place of joy, and a place of celebration. If you have not checked out Ponce Inlet you surely should! It is nestled south of Daytona Beach and north of New Smyrna Beach. Much of the beach is non-drivable, it has a quaint beach town feel, is oceanfront, and is boarded by the intercoastal. While there we went boating down the intercoastal and throughout much of New Smyrna, one of Clarkson’s very favorite things to do! Always searching for sealife, cool boats and the channel markers.

While we were there we also took part in one of the island’s famed traditions of putting on the Ponce Easter Celebration of egg hunts and the big bunny himself making an appearance. Pretty cool egg hunting right alongside the inlet’s beautiful lighthouse!

From the big hunt we headed back to the condo to meet up for some cousin love on the beach. The two boys were soaking in the sun while running all over with their matching BIG trucks and love for the water. It’s so sweet to see the two of them growing up right beside each other. Such special memories!

Then Sunday we headed off to Grace Orlando for a beautiful easter service… he has risen, he has risen indeed!

Spent the day feeling blessed and enjoying all the gifts we have been given by being saved. We hope you and yours were able to spend this beautiful day surrounded by the ones you love as well.
