Spring has Sprung!

Spring here now! We kicked this spring off with a great week having the little man home with us this past week on Spring Break. We tried to take some intentional time to be together which it really fills the cup for me! How blessed are we to live in such a great area to have so much to do and weather that just is the cat’s meow!

We were lucky enough to have Aunt Jill and Parker in town to start the fun! Took the opportunity and great weather to head out to Southern Hill Farm. Picked yummy strawberries, huge sunflowers, and had all-around great fun together. This is such a great place to take time out to do something you don’t get to do every day. We highly recommend it!

This week we also got the band together for their very first slumber party! Clarkie and Landy hit the week with some serious fun… it’s so cute to see them buddy up at such a young age. It also gave me a chance to test being a mom of two, there were a few challenges but overall I dig it! We visited the Orlando Science Center, Krispy Kreme, and a couple of area parks over the two days. They did great sharing a room overnight together and I look forward to many more of these buddy times for them!

The luck of the Irish got us with some fun friend time, aka Clarkson’s second annual St. Patties Party. The kiddos had a blast running around the yard searching for gold coins and getting out some Spring Break energy with each other.

Then this past weekend we rounded out the week with a trip to local Wekiwa Springs State Park for a couple of nights of camping and being out with nature. It was a relaxing time hiking, canoeing and just being outside. Clarkson loves leading hikes and telling us all about the things he sees along the way. He thinks he is quite the compass reader, lol. To set it up for you we are on the trail and every few minutes he is checking his compass and pointing to direct us down the existing path saying “oh my compass reads that we need to go this way!” He kept me giggling for sure!

Hope you guys had a great last month, remember to enjoy all Central Florida has to offer! We are super lucky to have all this right in our backyard!
